Time for Another Freebie? Oh, Aye!

Here's a preview of my new JumpStart 2007 CD Calendar templates. I know, I know, everybody else did theirs last month...sigh. But, there's still time to make one! This freebie is a ready-to-go PNG file. All you need to do is open it up in your favorite graphics program and put your photo on a layer beneath it. Voila! A fab CD calendar page for the month of February! Get the quickpage here.

The full set of 12 templates will be available in my shop at DSO this week! It will include some great bonus pieces, too, so stay tuned!

By the way, that's my Dad blowing out his birthday candles! ;-)

Miss Fortune Smiles Upon You!

Click on the link by the Fortune Cookie and you will get your own special fortune. Then, and this is the best part, click on the Icon Journal link in the navigation bar on the left and you'll be 'fortunate' to find some free abr (Photoshop) brushes!
My Fortune Cookie told me:
Piano legs will flap at you, ceaselessly.

Coming soon - A 5 Day Virtual Scrapbooking Crop!

I read about this on Michelle's Scrapbility blog and also on Angie Pedersen's blog.

Scrapbooks etc Magazine and InXpo are hosting a five day virtual crop with online classes, vendor shopping, an inspirational gallery, and a chat lounge, It starts February 28th and it's only $5 to register: affordable!

It seems to be geared towards traditional scrappers but there are two digital classes offered: "Brushes & Beyond" and "Digital Scrapbooking 101," both taught by Rhonna Farrer.

"You'll learn about the hottest tips, techniques, and trends that are sure to add pizzazz to your latest project. And, don't worry about your schedule, because all classes are on-demand! You'll even get step-by-step instructions to use again and again. Check out all the classes and be sure to register early. Discount packages available for a limited time only."

More details can be found on the Scrap-A-Faire website.

Introducing Clan Packs!

I hope you are all having a great start to the new year. I know I am!
Starting today, Clan Packs (mini Clan-specific kits) are starting to become available in my shop at Digital-Scrapbooking.org with Clan Chisholm as the first one!

The Clan Packs are the perfect way to scrap your Highland Games events, a Scottish wedding, or a trip to your historic Clan lands in Scotland.

Special Note: You CAN use these items for personal events (such as weddings), Clan coorespondance, or handouts at your local Highland Games but you CANNOT use them to produce items for sale or for web designs. If you wish to produce items for sale or use them on a website, you need to purchase the "Commercial Use" Clan Pack. It's easy and not expensive, so please make sure you purchase the correct pack for your purposes!

Each pack includes:
1 12x12 tartan paper
1 silver Clan crest
1 silver Clan name word art
1 12" tartan ribbon
4 glass tartan buttons
and 1 tartan bow
